About Me
Read on to learn the story of my career.
Personal Bio
I have always been a creative person. From a young age I was interested in art, dance, music and theater. I loved to draw and paint, acted in school plays and played the flute in my school band. I started dancing at age 6 and continued until I was 19 years old. My focus was ballet, but I learned other forms of dance as well.
In high school I took art and photography classes. My school also had a graphics program that taught screen printing and desktop publishing. I found the classes interesting and wondered how I could turn it into a career.
I still enjoy all things creative. My current interests are art, music, food and travel. My goal is to do work that I find challenging and engaging. I enjoy what I do and hope to continue doing it for as long as I can.
Experience
My career began in commercial printing. I started at the bottom and worked my way through prepress. I learned preflight, then proofing and finally imposition/job planning. Later, I made the decision to try freelance/contract work. For the last 10 years, I have been working as a production artist full time.

Education
My senior year of high school I took post-secondary classes in desktop publishing at St. Paul College and Advertising Art at The College of Visual Arts. I spent a year studying Graphic Design at the University of MN. In 2020, I pursued a degree in Web Design from Hennepin Technical College.
